Job Description

Sony Pictures Television Studios (SPTS) is one of the industry's leading content providers, producing programming worldwide across genres and platforms. As the largest independent TV studio in the industry, SPTS produces 50+ shows each year including THE BOYS, COBRA KAI, THE GOOD DOCTOR, OUTLANDER, and PLATONIC. SPTS is part of the larger Sony Pictures Television (SPT) division. SPT is a Sony Pictures Entertainment Company, a subsidiary of Tokyo-based Sony Group Corporation.  The Coordinator, Sales Marketing will report to the Exec Dir Sales Markating in SPTS to assist/support the lifecycle of TV sales/pitches. This role supports the team by managing project workflows, maintaining documentation, and assisting in the creative development and distribution of pitch materials. The Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring operations run efficiently and that critical deadlines are consistently achieved across a dynamic slate of projects. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Support the Exec Director to develop, drive, and elevate SPTS show sales + Support the execution of marketing sales by tracking coordinating tasks, deadlines, and deliverables + Schedule meetings, appointments, travel, and manage calendars for the Sales Marketing team + Serve as a point of contact between the Sales Marketing department and internal/external stakeholders + Prepare and distribute meeting agendas, notes, and follow-up action items + Process purchase orders, invoices, and expense reports for the Sales Marketing team + Monitor and report on sales marketing budget expenditures + Collaborate with external partners and vendors to ensure timely delivery of marketing assets + Ensure the Sales Marketing office is well-organized and all equipment is maintained + Maintain and organize pitch materials, assets, internal documents and team tracking systems. Experience with Airtable, Keynote, and PowerPoint is a plus. + Provide additional administrative support as needed to the Sales Marketing team Requirements: + A minimum of 1-2 years of experience working in marketing or entertainment + Strong communication skills + Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines + Highly organized and detailed oriented + Deep understanding and passion for the entertainment, television, and digital industries + Collaborative and transparent team-builder with experience working in a matrixed, multicultural, and international organization + Ability to analyze and learn from reporting data and insights + A lifetime learner constantly pursuing emerging and cross-disciplinary approaches that can enhance the work product delivered to internal and external stakeholder Sony Pictures Entertainment is an equal opportunity employer.
