As a Traffic Engineer for the Rail Traffic team, you will assist with traffic and preemption analysis/design, perform site visits, assist with plan or study preparation, and work closely with others on complex projects. _Olsson currently has one opportunity for a Traffic Engineer to support our Rail Traffic team. Candidates can work hybrid schedules, remotely, or work out of any Olsson office location in Irvine, CA, Denver, CO, Colorado Springs, CO, Loveland, CO, Phoenix, AZ, Omaha, NE, Lincoln, NE, and Utah - Remote._ _Traffic Engineer's on the Rail Traffic team can expect occasional travel to job sites for observation and to attend client meetings._ **Qualifications** **You are passionate about:** + Working collaboratively with others + Providing industry leading client service + Having ownership in the work you do + Using your talents to positively affect communities **You bring to the team:** + 2-4 years of traffic or transportation engineering experience + Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering + Engineering Intern Certificate (EI) preferred + Excellent written and verbal communication skills + Ability to contribute and work well on a team + Proficiency in AutoCAD (or similar software) + Proficiency in Synchro (or similar software) + Strong problem-solving and math skills \#LI-LA1 Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity. Colorado Pay Range $77,000-$113,000USD Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.
