A provider of Shell and CITGO products, the company also offers a suite of value-added services to complement its product portfolio including lubrication technician services, oil filtration & dehydration, varnish mitigation, oil analysis, and high-velocity oil flushing. Job Summary

Our company is seeking an experienced sales hunter to join our team and develop new business opportunities in the Lake Charles region. A self-starter who is passionate about selling, developing new relationships, and enjoys working with a team would be a great fit for this role.

The core responsibilities and duties associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market and maintain relationship with existing customers.
  • Follow-up on cold and warm leads to further the sales process.
  • Maintain business activity and pipeline information within CRM.
  • Obtain proper knowledge of the company products through certifications and/or available training offered by the company.
  • Collaborate with upper management and the service team to prepare proposals.
  • Participate in weekly meetings to determine, follow up, and track goals.
  • Learn, understand, and advise solutions for your customer’s business issues.
  • Work with supplier partners and other technical resources to solve customer issues and identify solutions.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Prospecting and cold calling
  • Meeting preparation and presentations
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Professional demeanor 
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and duties simultaneously.
  • Extremely self-motivated when managing communication channels.
  • Process-focused, proactively seeks out new methods and improvements.
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Self-starter

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience working with machinery and rotating equipment.
  • Petrochemical, marine, and industrial market sector experience
  • Established network within assigned territory (River Parishes / New Orleans)
  • Experience in the fuel and lubricants industry

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • 5 years of experience in sales or lubrication and industrial services
